Holiday App contains the details of more than 1600 holiday days from more than 140 countries. This is an ideal tool for event planners, businesses working with foreign overseas teams, tourists, students and more.

Event planning is aided by many useful features, for example, a working day calculator.

The data can be exported to your iPhone calendar if desired (see below for more information about buying exports).

Holiday App Features

- Worldwide holidays by year
The holidays are listed according to country and year. You can filter to individual regions, for when specific regional arrangements are in place.

- Holiday Lexicon
The Holiday Lexicon provides interesting information on each holiday - the type of a holiday (religious, public etc) and whether it is a working or non-working holiday. You can customise this information too.

- Working-day Calculator
The Working-day Calculator shows an overview of the working-days and free days for a selected period. The working-days of a month can easily be calculated.

- Export
The holidays can be exported directly to your iPhone when using iOS 4. Export the holidays to your PC/Mac calendar program using an iCal compliant feed. If youre using iOS 3 you have to use this method to include calendar data into the iPhone calendar (not needed for iOS 4).

- Todays Holidays
All holidays on a particular day can be shown using the feature "Todays Holidays".

- Forthcoming Holidays
The forthcoming holidays of one or more countries (according to your selection) can be shown in a list.

- Favourites
"Favourites" allows easy access to the desired information. Favourites for countries and regions, as well as for holidays can be set up.


Buying Exports
==============

When buying exports you are given the ability to export one countries calendar data for one year any number of times. You can export the data to your iPhone calendar or to your Mac/PC calendar program via an iCal compliant feed. There is a large amount of work involved in gathering and maintaining each countries data and this is the main reason we have to charge. You buy the exports via in-App purchases. Should updates or corrections to events occur in later versions, these will be applied to your previously purchased exports.
